Recipe Simulator

The DeltaV Recipe Simulator application allows you to simulate production during the development stage, without affecting any real time processes. The Recipe Simulator application is run on the same machine as the Batch Executive.

Recipe Simulator can be used to:

• Test phase configuration and synchronization
• Test new recipes
• Determine how long batches will take to run
• Operator input
• Equipment arbitration

Recipe Simulator has the following screens that allow you to evaluate your process.

Phase Status - lets users monitor phases. Registers are displayed that indicate the state of the phase, such as Status, Step Index, Request, Failure, and so on.

Phase Configuration - lets users configure phases, including parameter upload and download, messages, and synchronization.
