The Batch Historian creates a entry in the Event Chronicle when significant batch events occur. These events are available to client applications through the DeltaV OPC Alarms and Events server. To enable Batch Historian events, set "Log=True" in the Batch Historian configuration file, DVHExecutive.ini (in DeltaV\BatchHis\Bin). Changes to the .INI file will take effect within 30 seconds. The default setting is disabled, that is, "Log=False". The Batch Historian configuration file is shown in the following example:
